We’ll feature Maverick Ed Leigh, BBC’s Ski Sunday presenter, along with fellow chums Ewan Wallace, and another 20 good mates including Jonny (The Cat) Verity-he always lands feet first, but admits to having a penchant for running around in super hero out outfits, as they explore the mountains and live the dream. James Stentiford, one of the UK’s most fearless backcountry riders shows us the inner beauty and cruelty of the mountains from another perspective. Then we have Chamonix afficiando, Jamie Strachan-clothes and ski designer, the first real brit to make it- a classic allround good egg has done everything from punter to ski bum, to first descents of Alaskan peaks. Then we have the girls, and they are all crackers- hot on boards as well as babes, Jenny Jones, Juliete Elliott and the like mix it up along the way doing the big freestyle comps all over Europe. This is LIFE in the fast lane. We will head to Chamoinx, Tignes, Val, d’Isere, Meribel, Alpes D’Huez, La Grave… where the Brit Snow Pack pack hang out. We will go o the beaten track in Verbier and beyond with Warren Smith. We go big mountain riding European style searching among the Alpes, the Pyrenees, and the Dolomites searching in the couloirs for the deep untracked powder on 50 degree avalanche prone slopes. This is a series with serious attitude that will twist and turn with the weather and the mountains. Of course Legend Matt Reardon is back, the rock star extreme skier with new knees. He comes in for all of the big occasions when he is not o doing some big descents somewhere ( and of course we follow him there as well). We’ll be there from first thing in the morning to last thing at night, from the fun of day to day riding to preparations for the major competitions and championships. The Brits, Burton Open and of course next year is the Winter Olympics… Who will do well and who will fail?
