Synopsis:
Global Warming is now something we cannot ignore and as a result people all over the world are thinking more about the environment around them and asking questions. So how much do we really know about the many changes, systems and processes of our host planet? In what ways is the Earth really changing and how much of what we are experiencing is just part of the planet's natural rhythms? Are there lessons from the past to be learned? What is likely to happen to us and is there anything we can do about it? This series of twelve, five minute short programmes looks at how changes in our world, although profound in their impact, are not necessarily new, and aims to provide the answers to some of those questions.
