Hold The Door

Synopsis:

Eugene, a dreamy and naive teenager, becomes friends with Hector, an impulsive and brutal young man. The mutual fascination of this unlikely pair brings them together in the heart of New York. Eugene soon meets Monica, Hector's girlfriend, who prefers Eugene's sensitive nature, and the two begin to see each other on the sly. Paranoia ensues as the fanciful Eugene comes to fear that Hector is haunting him. Hold the Door, Mark Johnson's first feature film, was inspired by Dostoyevsky's The Idiot.
